About Us
Michigan Ability Partners is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency that was founded in 1984. MAP provides housing
supports, vocational and financial services to persons with varying levels of disabilities.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

Michigan Ability Partners (MAP) promotes independence and productivity for all individuals in our community.
This mission is accomplished by offering a choice of services designed to enhance individual ability through skill
mastery and self-sufficiency. In partnership with MAP, each participant's efforts and achievements build a
foundation for lifelong, self-directed growth. MAP primarily serves people facing barriers to self-sufficiency
resulting from: developmental disabilities, mental illness, addiction, homelessness, and/or restricted access to
employment. Michigan Ability Partners is committed to the evolution of innovative and collaborative services
which respond to consumer and community need.
