HOUSING SUPPORT

To procure and retain housing for homeless Veterans, MAP provides:

•    Affordable housing help through payment of application fees,

      security deposits and move-in costs

•    Short-term rental subsidy

•    Access to job training and placement services

Through temporary financial assistance and other supportive services, this program helps individual Veterans and Veterans with families find stability in their new housing and self-sufficiency as they work towards financial independence.  Funded through the Veteran’s Administration, this program was dramatically strengthened in 2018 by support from KeyBank, providing $300,000 over 3 years to house those who have served our country. MAP is now able to serve 130 Veterans each year.

1 in 4 homeless men have served in our armed forces.
